We only ask for what we need to look after your booking and your family's visit.

• Party bookings: your name, email address, phone number, address, the party date and time, room choice, number of children, food picks, add-ons and any dietary notes.
• Hippo Club signups: your name, email address and phone number, plus the membership reference we generate for you.
• Enquiries: whatever you choose to tell us when you call, email or message us.
• Website use: basic, non-identifying information about how pages are used, so we can keep the site working well.

Why we collect it

• To confirm your party booking and talk to you about it.
• To let you know about your deposit, your booking time and anything you need to bring.
• To run the Hippo Club and recognise you at reception.
• To answer your questions and improve our centre and website.

Who can see your information

Your details are seen by Happy Hippos staff who handle bookings, and by the trusted services that store our records and send our emails. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and membership records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our record-keeping obligations. If you would like your details removed sooner, just ask and we will take care of it.

Photos at the centre

We sometimes take photos at parties and events, and we may share a few of them on our website or social media. If you would prefer your child not to appear in any photo, tell a staff member on the day or email us and we will make sure of it — and we will remove any photo you ask us to.

Your choices

Call or email the centre using the details below and we will help.

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your details from our booking or Hippo Club records.
• Ask to stop receiving emails from us at any time.

Cookies and the website

Our website uses a small number of cookies to remember your session and to keep the booking form working as you move between steps. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the booking form may not work as smoothly.

Keeping your information safe

Booking and membership records are stored in secure, access-controlled systems, and only approved staff can open them. Payments, when taken, are handled by the payment provider — we never store your card details.
