A great kids party does not need months of work. Follow this timeline and you will have a happy birthday child and relaxed parents on the day.
4–6 weeks before: choose the date and venue
Saturdays book out first. Pick two possible dates, then book your venue. At Happy Hippos, a $100 deposit holds your room, and themed parties start at $279 for eight children.
Pick a theme
Let your child choose. Our rooms include Princess, Dinosaur and Under Water, plus premium Disco and Baking rooms for $369.
3 weeks before: send invitations
Include the address (1924 Princes Hwy, Clayton), start and finish times, a reminder about grip socks and an RSVP date.
2 weeks before: food and cake
Our packages include three kids menu items, fries, chips, cordial and water. You can bring your own cake or order a 900g frozen party cake for $25.
1 week before: confirm numbers
Extra children are $27.90 each including food and entry. Adults are free and unlimited.
The day
Arrive a little early. Your host sets up, serves food, runs games like Musical Chairs and cleans up, so you can enjoy the party.
Budget tips
Keep the guest list to the class or a close group, choose one or two extras only, and use lolly bags ($3.99) instead of expensive gifts.
